I know this is super easy, and I am probably overlooking the obvious, but what exactly does the "Segue END" marker do?

I know the Segue START marker starts the next event, which overlaps with the currently playing event.

I did a search, and getting some mixed results.

One result suggested the segue start caused a fade of the currently playing track until the seg end marker...I thought the system just overlapped the audio WITHOUT fading [otherwise there would be no need for the fade markers that I can see]; if you want a fade out while segueing, I assumed that is what the fade markers were for.

So I think I get the purpose of all the markers, except for the segue end one.

Sorry for the confusion. Our current system only allows you to set the "overlap point". That is all you can set. Any fades have to be recorded into the source material, so this is a little new.
