I tried this with 2.9.0 today, it didn't crash straight away after the sound
panel stopped playing however when I went to start the main log it crashed
then instead. But after swapping RDLogin users while the sound panel was

Not sure if you remembered to look in to this. When I start a song on the
sound panel in RDAirPlay 2.8.1(now 2) and change user login to another RD
account, the playing sound panel item shows on the panel that it isn't
playing when it still is. Once the item finishes playing, RDAirPlay
crashes/terminates instantly at end of song.
This is on CentOS 6.4.
