Ended up reinstalling Qt4, took hours, and then using the CPP flags/path
info and the install found and passed that section.
Then it immediately stalled at looking for jack/jack.h. The system has
jack.h and ringbuffer.h in a jack folder. Supposedly this is installed with
the appliance anyway. But I have had no luck getting the install to find
jack either. Their website is down to try and reinstall, and yum install
jack-xxxx reports again its already installed.

You might want to consider:
http://github.com/ElvishArtisan/GlassCoder
which can be configured to operate completely automatically in RDAdmin.
Assuming the Creek don't rise, I hope to have a new release of this out in
the next day or two, following which it'll be in the Broadcast Appliance
repository. Pretty much ready to go now, with the exception of the Opus
support. The joys of life on the bleeding edge... :)
Cheers!
