I've wrestled with this a few weeks now and avoided asking for something probably so simple, but I haven't tripped over the clue yet. Found a thorough book on CentOS 6 which is helpful to a point.

Had an early V2 on CentOS 5 working fine. Decided it might be okay to try the latest, so backed up the DB, and /var/snd to an external drive, then downloaded and installed most recent I could find (V2.5.5) which uses CentOS 6. Copied music back to /var/snd, restored DB, as I recall reading that should be all there is to it. Well, it seems CentOS 6 has changed the desktop and so following the wiki was ...um...challenging. And now the results of that trial.

Hosts>Audio Ports grey'd out so unable to configure
rdlibrary appears empty (although contents can be seen in the cli).
rdlogmanager is grey'd out
rdlogedit shows previous logs but can't delete any of theme.
rdairplay grey'd out on left side so can't load 1k test tone, etc.

Music Groups are intact, as are scheduler codes. This is the same machine the previous working system was on. Can you direct me to the previous threads where this was discussed by others, or a simple(r) suggestion.

Sorry for what seems like a recurring theme, but can't find previous answers that solve this.
