What sort of help are you looking for?
You can buy Rivendell machines pre-configured from Paravel, if you have
the budget.
Because Linux is a true multitasking, multi-user operating system, you can
save money by combining the audio/SQL server with your Studio 1 on air
machine. You will still be able to do all the administrative tasks from
other machines on the network just as if you had a separate server.
You might want to add a backup machine with its contents synchronized with
the main one. One of my clients keeps his backup machine at a remote
transmitter site, so he will not lose his audio files or logs if something
happens to the studio building.
I have built Rivendell machines for several stations, including wsro.com,
whrb.org, worldclassicalnetwork.com, and classical959.com.

Hello I'm new to this and needing some help setting up setting up a new
system for a community radio station. I've played about with the RRAbuntu
installation CD but need to be able to install the latest version of
Rivendell on a Linux machine and also be able to configure it to run over a
network so a remote machine (or two) can do admin stuff while the main
studios are running without interrupting them.
Fairly green when it comes to doing any under the bonnet work with Linux and
have no idea where to start, so any help greatly appreciated.
Set up would be something like
AUDIO + SQL SERVER
STUDIO 1 - On Air
STUDIO 2 - Production
Workstation 1
Workstation 2
Here's hoping someone can help.

Kind regards,
