Another direction might be to tie a button box to the GPIs of Rivendell. We did this for one of our operators that was blind with a different automation system. I believe we used a broadcast tools 10 or so button box and he could fly with it. He ran the tightest shows I had ever heard.

My guess would be that QT3 which is what Rivendell is coded upon is not very good for accessibility. This is purely based upon other languages I've used where older versions just never covered that topic. So I decided to do a bit of investigating. As it stands Orca won't tell you any information about any of the Rivendell apps. I tried turning on all the speak options and not a single word was uttered. There does seem to be support for Accessibility options in QT4 but I can't find any info about QT3. Does anyone know if its even possible to add this in QT3? If you use or know of any other Linux friendly programs Seth please let me know and I'll try and load them up to see if they work any better.
