Folks, I spent an agrevating weekend installing the Rivendell appliance on a new computer from a DVD burned with broadcast_appliance-DVD-2.2.1-x86_64.iso. The install went well, but when it came time to reboot, it wouldn't. I got the message from grub that it would boot CentOS after 5 seconds, but after that the computer goes to a blank screen with a blinking cursor and no hard drive activity. I tried reinstalling Rivendell with the same results.
The computer is a homebrew unit using an Asus B85-Plus motherboard, Intel i3 processor, 8Gb RAM, and 1 Tb hard drive. I can boot the computer with my Puppy Linux live CD and see all the new partitions and files created by the install disk on the hard drive. What do I do now? -- -Chuck Niday- Allegheny Mtn. Radio
