All the import methods I see rely on filename based metadata collection, a process which I know includes perils of 255 character limit and other character escaping issues beyond the NTFS over SMB on Linux mount we're currently using to store our music (don't ask).
Is there any support or plan to support importing based on standardized file metadata tagging instead of relying on the filename? I didn't see any info on this with a cursory search. Thanks, Nicholas Andre Operations Director WMFO Medford
