I have a system running Rivendell 2.5.2 under Debian 7. It does not record audio.
Neither rdlibrary nor rdcatch can record. rdlibrary allows me to press the record button (i.e. it's not grayed out, and it acknowledges a mouse-click), but the timer stays at 0 and no audio is visible on the meters.
The sound card is an Echo Mia. If I stop the Rivendell daemons and start Audacity, I can record audio successfully, so the sound card is working properly.
I can also import the recorded files into Rivendell (after, of course, restarting the Rivendell daemons).
