Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I wanted to have a chance to try
a few things out.

I've narrowed it down a bit - this only seems to effect Rivendell when
running on the 32 bit version of Ubuntu (and probably also 32-bit
Debian). I've been able to reproduce this same issue on both 10.04 and
12.04, both compiling from source and using Alban's packages.

However on the 64 (x86_64)bit version the problem does not seem to
exist.

As for what precisely throws it, RDAdmin --> Manage Hosts --> Switchers
GPIO --> Edit a serial port modem control line switcher --> Configure
GPI --> Edit GPI --> Select a cart number for either ON, OFF, or both,
then click OK, and that's when it'll crash.

The same can be done if you select Configure GPO.

I'll have to fire up my older 32-bit machine and see about a backtrace.

Thanks,

Lorne
