So since I have a couple of 32-bit machines running (and a 64-bit), I thought I'd give this a try:

On our main "On Air Machine", It is running V2.10.2 32-bit and rdimport with --segue-level works fine. This system is from the Tryphon binaries and running on Debian "Squeeze" (old-stable).

I have a "Cold" standby running on identical hardware, but had been updated to Debian "Wheezy" (current-stable). When I powered it on it was still on V2.10.1 so I imported the exact same audio file with the exact same command line rdimport and it failed to set seque markers. I then updated Rivendell to V2.10.3 with the same result. Also it took much longer to import the exact same file as on our main machine with rdxport.cgi was taking lots of machine cycles for a long time (about 10 times longer than on our identical hardware "main" machine, with mostly the same "background" workload running)

Our 64-bit (semi hot standby / offsite backup server) worked fine with V2.10.3 running on Debian "Wheezy".

So I'm thinking that somehow when I set up this "Cold" standby, I perhaps made the some same mistake Rich did. Perhaps with an Apache setup or something like that? In both cases on the "Cold" standby I could go in and set Segue levels using the GUI in rdlibrary just fine. I saved and reopened the file and markers were still there.
