Okay, I got confused on my previous post about segue markers in rdimport. So the issue relating to 32-bit vs 64-bit was about this issue.

So once again I fired up our "Cold" standby, now running V2.10.3 (32-bit Tryphon binaries, "Wheezy") and tried the sequence below and nothing bad happened (nothing crashed). Note I had an entry in Switchers for a Broadcast tools ACS-8.2, and I simply added the "serial port modem control line switcher" as a second device and ran through the sequence below. Also note that no actual devices are connected to the computer's serial port(s) at this time.
