After downloading and installing the CentOS 7-based Broadcast Appliance (v 3.7.0 Beta 2 as of this writing), I think I'm almost ready to go. Except there's one thing...
ALSA doesn't see my ASI 5211 playout card. aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 - Does anyone have insight on how to install the ALSA drivers under CentOS 7? I've handled this before under Ubuntu, but I'm at a loss working in the CentOS Broadcast Appliance. I know Paravel maintains CentOS repos, but I would've assumed those are baked into the downloaded ISO. Any ideas? Nicholas
