I was trying to help Graham (the OP) on this but had to drop out for
lack of time. But this is one that I did have a chance to try this fix
morning and the particular problem that he's described didn't respond to
this one, unfortunately.
There was some discussion on the list that this lock file applied to
earlier versions of the code and is no longer in use; can anyone confirm
that?
