Hi,

You can change /etc/rd.conf and point it to any MySQL database you have on the LAN or Internet. I don't think the Internet would be a good idea but I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work.

What exactly are you trying to do? (And why?)

You can run the mysql server where the Rivendell database lives on its own machine.

So... If your network is reliable enough and the latency is low enough... ???

Online = on the LAN. Yes...
Others = ???
