Hi,
I use a separate rdairplay log file but to get that to work I had to set
the [Logs] section in /etc/rd.conf as follows:
Facility=File
LogDirectory=/home/ukstudio/logs
This gives me an rdairplay-whatever_date.log. It lets you see things
like Manual/Auto/Live Assist changes, RLM updates, carts starting and
stopping and logs loaded.
I can't see any "ADDED X Song" or "DELETED Y Song" messages so I don't
think these are logged. Its possible that newer versions of Riv log
this better (I'm using v2.5).
From memory I think the default is to log to syslog. I don't know if
Riv tags its messages but if not try a grep for "started audio cart" and
if its in syslog it should show up.
grep "started audio cart" /var/log/syslog
