If you mounted /tmp/xtra as root you may have to chown rd:rivendell
[amend as appropriate] /tmp/xtra and run rivendell_filter as rd.
If you can see the files and it don't work it's usually permissions.
The root on studio 2 is a different entity to the root on studio 1 as is
rd on each
