Hi,

I've had this happen under Ubuntu/Debian installs from time to time (twice). Unfortunately I never got to the bottom of it.

You can sometimes reboot and clear the problem, you can sometimes restart the Riv daemons (killall caed ripcd rdcatchd then load up airplay again to respawn them).

The weird thing is, I normally reinstall from scratch and it is fine. At this point I've got Riv down to a science so a full bare metal install takes less than 10 minutes. Far less time than I was willing to spend trying to fix the problem.

If you are interested you can look in syslog for caed events to see if any weirdness is going on, from memory I could never see anything.
