Since importing thousands of audio files and finding that a significant
number of cuts under certain carts need the same simple change, it seems
that using a mySQL management tool would save me a lot of time - to be able
to change a column of data. Specifically, all those past episodes under
their particular program cart need to be made unavailable for now with only
the new cuts ready to air. I was doing it manually by clearing all days of
the week but that will take a very long time. If I could multi-select and
perform the same action on all at once it would be easier. The reason we
do this is that new episodes are not always available on time so we
substitute older ones. We keep about a year's worth - some are for every
week day and some for weekends.

If a mySQL management tool is the best way to do this, what do you all
suggest? I loaded phpMyAdmin but so far cannot connect to it within my
local network. I put the workstation IP in the server conf file for
'require IP' and 'IP allow' but it still denies access - won't load the php
page. Suggestions?

If there is another way to accomplish this, I'd appreciate your ideas on
that also.

Thanks,
