I'm back to trying to fade the volume on input 1 when switched to output 0 using ALSA with a Delta 44 card. I've tried it on Centos 5, ver 2.9.3, Centos 6, latest version, and Mint 17, ver 2.10.3. The command 'amixer set ADC,0 5-' works in a script file and terminal on all units but not when calling the script with RN in a macro or with 'RN /usr/bin/amixer set ADC,0 5-!' in either Centos OSs but works in Mint. My desktop is Mint for monitoring RDCatch but all production machines are Centos with mostly ASI cards. Fading does not work on Delta 44 or ASI cards on Centos. SG, SL, nor MD work when switching input 1 into output 0. I have set permissions for amixer, the script folder, and scripts to 777 to no avail. If anyone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it and quit butting my head against the wall.

Thanks,
Jimmy
