If I do this, I get a segfault when caed tries to start:

 caed -d
ALSA lib pcm.c:2239:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM rd0
ALSA lib pcm.c:2239:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM rd0
caed: JACK server started
caed: connected to JACK server
Segmentation fault

anyone have any ideas here?

all the best,

drew
