There are two schemes that seem to be in common use in the industry. The first
(and more complete):

        AUDs: Start Marker
        AUDe: End Marker
        SEGs: Segue Start Marker
        SEGe: Segue End Marker
        INTs: Talk Start Marker
        INTe: Talk End Marker

then there’s:

        SEC1: Segue Start Marker
        EOD: Segue End Marker
INT or INT1: Talk End Marker (Implies Talk Start Marker=0)

Rivendell imports recognize and use both.

Cheers!
