Hi Rob,

That might help if you make the change before creating the Rivendell
database for the first time (though I'm not sure of that). When making
this change, I've never changed the global my.cnf file on any of the
installations I support.

Also, know that Fred fixed this issue permanently with a database schema
change in Rivendell release 2.11.0 (actually in database version 248).
