Ten years ago I built a Rivendell machine that was never deployed. It sat in a box on Cape Cod for several years and then moved to my basement.

Last week I repurposed the machine for something else, and took out, among other things, a Measurement Computing PCI-PDIS08 GPIO card.

As it happemns, I'm building a new Rivendell machine for a station in Vermont, and would like to use this card in it.

I read in the Wiki that the Measurement Computing cards only work with "old kernels". Is 2.6.32 old enough?

Also, does it matter whether it's a 32-bit or a 64-bit OS?

Thanks,

Rob
