I had the macro carts group set to send now & next, ive since changed it to not, and now have a bash script tjat writes to my now playing file.
echo -e "Advert: Break - Advert: Break" > /home/rd/NowPlaying.txt I have the macro cart execute the bash file with the RN comnand. Its getting to the stream ok now, i think the macros where so short the file changes not getting picked up by my streaming software. My only problem now isn't a Rivendell one, my stream provider is stripping the first 'Advert:' from the my metadata so its not triggering the breaks like it should. I hope a Shoutcast.com expert here might have some insight.
