Hi !

I know that Rivendell (thanks Fred and others!) is able to interruptions the
live stream (main) by switching over to local playout.
Also I saw and I tested how to use sound card adapter as audio switcher.
But I have other questions about how this can be done correctly.
I want to made a Xen VM with 8 Rivendell hosts to play on the other Engine
Audio Core (physical system with ASI 8 I/O Livewire card).

My questions :
Can I use switch on local audio adapter with ASI board? also with Livewire ASI ?
Has anyone used ASI Livewire and use all 8 outputs in the same time ?
Can I send the same input to all 8 outputs?
With Livewire drivers on gigabit ethernet it works or is
If I want to send commands to several stations, what is the right way ? With
CC or with RN "rmlsend - to - host = ... - to - port = 5858 - from - file =
....? Others ?
Can a macro execute instantly dozens of such commands or just a few?
Is it correct to perform them in the playlist before and at the end of the
event that is intend to switch in the remote stations?
Regards !
