I have some carts that go over one hour.  Nothing more than about 1:07.

The timed event at the top of the hour, being in the same log
as the long cart, just plays after the long cart is done.. unless
some later hard timed event has also subsequently become due.
If that is the case then it skips the TOH event.

It works the same as a similar log of less than an hour,
so you could model it with events separated by 5 minutes
instead of hours, and see the same effect.
