FYI
X server crash fixed by rolling back xorg stack.
Apparently stack in 14.03 Ubuntu doesn't play well with qt3.

Unable to create destination file persists
Except if I select another rd machine for http core in rdadmin,
Gotta be either permission or host related.

Sorry for rehashing old problems but sometimes I failed to take notes on
fixes I figured out a couple of years ago.

It happens as we get busy and get older.

Greetings,

We had a break in at our station and lost two computers that I'm trying to
replace.
We are running rivendell 2.8.1 on Mint 17.3 (using trusty deb packages)

Everything looks good but have a few issues.

Rdlibrary
everything working except
Cannot import audio get audio converter error unable to create destination
file.
/var/snd is writeable, in fact I can "record" a new file
I can export a file, I just can't import.

RdAirplay

As soon as you press play on a loaded cart it crashes X
you find yourself at login screen.
 syslog
mdm[3155]: WARNING: mdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting

Using low latency kernel 3.19.0-32-lowlatency #37~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP

Any ideas appreciated.
