I used drop boxes for automatically importing stuff that gets downloaded or saved to disk by some other process (AMB-OS or any other CDN system) I had a program that downloaded the content save the files for each show into a specific folder and set up a dropbox in RDAdmin to import those files into a specific group. I also used the file rename feature with the downloader to save the file as CARTNUM.wav or CARTNUM.mp3 which makes it a bit easier.
The only thing I used RDCatch for was timed recording of stuff off the XDS receivers and an occasional FTP download for a few shows that were not distributed any other way.
