And it *is* worth watching !! Last I looked, their current favored child was a Seagate, but not just any Seagate. That's important ! Back when I was doing that sort of thing, Seagates dropped heads, WD lost spindle bearings. You could count on that. I could say things about other manufacturers, but they no longer exist so it doesn't matter. In any case, that was years ago. They've all improved greatly since then. Once upon a time, and occasionally still if you're very lucky, you could see failure rates for google, but they don't volunteer that info anymore.
