Yes, Sending the normal RT with artist and title, is pretty easy with rlm_udp.rlm But for RT+, I would need to send a second string with the pointer (position) and length values, to tag artist and title within the normal RT. (komma delimited)
Other data can also be transmitted/tagged in this fashion. Like Website, hotline number etc. My guess would be that I need to prepare this 2nd string with a bash file to parse a text file ? Since I am a total n00b in this field, i have to ask around first, if someone has done this before. Apparently there is a widely used protocol UECP/ODA to send data to an Encoder. (via RS232 TCP or UDP) It might be usefull to code an RLM for this ? Regards Peter
