I am currently working on integrating Rivendell with MusicMaster's Nexus interface.
https://www.musicmaster.com/nexus.php For those of you currently using Rivendell with MusicMaster, do you have any suggestions on how you'd like to see this interface work? For starters, we need to be able to keep the two libraries in sync. Should MusicMaster require standard/specific field names for cart number, artist, title, etc or should Rivendell provide for a translation table so that, for example, the Rivendell cart number can be defined in MusicMaster's library fields as anything such as "Cart#", "CartNo", "Cart Number", or "XYZZY"? Should merging remain the same through RDLogManager(1) but have the MusicMaster events come directly from MusicMaster rather than through a flat file. Any feedback would be appreciated.
