I am building a new Rivendell system on CentOS 7 following the Paravel
instructions.
My ASI5810 sound card isn't being recognized, and I believe the reason is
that this card requires at least version 4.18.00 of the HPI driver, but
the driver installed by the Rivendell installer appears to be 4.13.00-3
If this were for any other station, I'd just download the driver source
from ASI and compile it, but I don't expect to have a lasting relationship
with this client, and I don't want to leave him with any non-standard
loose ends.
I could switch to a different sound card, but that would not be my
preferred choice. Any suggestions?
