We're running on 2.10.3 and I got a new Dell 5767 laptop and figured it is high time to at least look at upgrading.
After installation following the Rivendell 3 instructions for CentOS 7 on the Paravell site, no Import/Export Database buttons appear on RDAdmin. If I muck around with RDAirPlay and the Library enough, I finally get an error message to the effect 'cannot connect to database'. There IS Rivendell appearing as a database in mysql, and the test tone appears in /var/snd, in addition to the test tone playing successfully and displaying in the Library as a cart, so it seems Rivendell must be accessing the database. I am not concerned about security for this setup, but have nevertheless tried installs both ignoring and doing the password setups post-installation--same problem either way. I cannot find that anyone else has had this problem, but searching the archives for the right search terms is not always surefire. Does anybody know how to correct this and make the database show up as accessible in RDAdmin? --Chuck Waggoner _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://caspian.paravelsystems.com/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
