I am so glad in some way you are reporting this situation. I did it In my own
words two weeks ago and I apologize that I could not explained clear enough the
issue and I assume that is why nobody has pay attention to it.
We noticed that anything that has to do with voice tracking or recording audio
has been in some way affected. In voice tracking we learned a way to cope wit
the situation; however, we are experiencing some problems when trying to record
long files on real time using Rdcath or library.  I can see the complete audio
wave graphic without interruptions.  However, the actual audio is interrupted
wit silent segments and is incomplete. I pray some of our good rivendely
friends have a solution for this.  May be Fred already has noticed and there
will be a solution in future versions.  For now, it seems we my need to live
with this.  Rivendell has been a great blessing for our station. For ever
grateful to Fred and other contributors

Hi

Between two voicetrack productions i updated my system via yum on centos
to the latest version 3.1.

And i noticed, that the work with the voicetracker is from now on
extremly laggy. The VU freezes for +-2 seconds, and most of the time one
channel VU level will be visible after save for some seconds.

Another example... Opening the Edit Marker dialog takes now 2-3 seconds
what usualy happens not.

These examples happens on my clients and on the server, so it should not
network related...

Any hints..? Same SQL problem like on Debian/Ubuntu??

Ruediger
