Hello, I am having an issue with a setup I look after. I use jack for various audio routing tasks but I want to use a SIP application (which uses pulse) for remote contribution.
The issue I have is that the existing library was set up at 44.1 kHz whereas the high-quality SIP stuff like OPUS on baresip or linphone want to work at 48 kHz. Despite setting up rate conversion etc, I am having audio quality issues. I suspect the easiest approach is to run Rivendell at 48 kHz along with everything else in the audio chain. I really don't want to mess about with multiple jack servers etc. My question - can I simple process all of the .wav files in /var/snd with sox to convert them to 48 kHz, change the setting in rdadmin and reboot? Or is it more involved than this? Cheers Aaron
