I'm also guessing this is about ALSA not HPI.

Awesome, thanks Fred.
I asked ASI about the rev.F 5111 as well and their reply is below.
However RD still reports the card as 1 output via the HPI driver which
I'm using at the moment (managed to get it importing logs and on-air
today, just have to go back and do some more ground work).

under CentOS 7?
Yes they are. The four playback devices show up as four ALSA
subdevices (as opposed to four separate ALSA cards). Let me know if
you need further assistance.
Kind Regards

Slightly different, it shows as 1 output, but 2 inputs not 1. That's
a bummer, it's the only ASI card I have, and that took some slog at
work to save up for that one. I won't be replacing it anytime soon.
At least it's better than my alternatives at hand. Does that mean I
need to take it out if I want to have multiplecarts play/segue at once?
By no means! That card will happily execute segue overlaps and
multiple play-outs (up to four simultaneously). What it won’t do is
give you separate play-outs on the analog and AES3 outputs; those two
ports will always carry the same play-out. That’s a function of the
basic architecture of the card. See the mixer diagram at:
