What sound card do you use? If it's anything but an Audioscience card, it should be listed when you open a terminal window and enter:

        cat /proc/asound/cards

If there's more than one card listed, rdaierplay may be playing through the other one.

I assume you've already run rdadmin and looked at Audio Resources under Manage Hosts... and then checked rdairplay under Manage Hosts to make sure it's set up to play through the card output you want.
