Oh it's possible, it just doesn't build mod_rivet with the correct flags, and I felt like it was better to have instructions there that work rather than ones that say it's normal and then have it not work. It needs to use "cc -dynamiclib -undefined suppress -flat_namespace" -- maybe libtool can't be coaxed into doing that, I don't know.  Maybe apxs can shed some light on the situation. Preparing for the hurricane today (just got back from NYC last night -- took an earlier flight which turned out to be smart as they're closing the airport today at noon)... deciding whether to evacuate or not, moving stuff around at the office, etc. Karl
