A new procedure doc/convert_examples.tcl has been added. Code
examples to be put in the manual are still in doc/examples but
they are in their native form now. This should make easier to the
user to test Rivet by simply copying the examples to any disk space
accessible by the webserver. To generate the same examples in
a form suitable for inclusion in the Docbook manual is as simple
as typing (cd doc; make examples).
This requires Rivet to be installed, as the
procedure will use escape_sgml_chars on the examples text to
regenerate them in their XML compliant form.

doc/README has more about adding new examples, hoping a GSoC
student will take up the project of improving manual, website and
examples. Is this in the list of available projects?
