It seems you are doing a nice and hard job! I'll give it a look, just to see
what's happening there.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the Zend framework,
never used, never seen code using it, maybe never visited the web site.

I've much more experience using CodeIgniter, which is far smaller than
Zend: a simple wc on the code base gives just 51k loc including blank
lines and comments, a third of the latter. Even if I neither used CakePHP,
nor FuelPHP, but they seem to share the basic approach with CI, I'm
going that way because I'm familiar with it from a user point of view.

I'm very sorry I can't give some help with your work, but I'm available to
share experience, ideas and source code, so I hope I can ask if I need.
