The developers of the gnucobol compiler understand it better than me. They are working on a solution for TK to this but it won't be implemented for a while because they are concentrating on the next release due out kind of soon. Please write them at the link if you have a question. I am fooling with cobol and going to try Rivet for something fun to work on in my spare time outside of work. thx. for writing!jim
