A branch tcl-novem has been created. Code in this branch builds
correctly with Tcl9.0a1 and I was able to run a basic rivet script but
couldn't even read some of the typical management/introspection
variables such as tcl_patchlevel tcl_platform or auto_path
basically it's unusable at the moment for any serious programming
