In TCL 9, ITCL always causes troubble.
Would it possible to use the build-on TclOO instead IncrTCL ?

Rewriting the whole stuff based on Itcl is certainly possibile, almost
on a line-by-line basis but it would take time. AFAIK TclOO in 9.0
supports also class variables which (I understand) are the TclOO analog
of common variables. I don't see other obstacles.
