Just wanted to note that rkhunter-1.2.9-1 builds on CentOS 4.4 using the
spec file in the tarball. Had to comment out two lines in the new
version of the
/etc/rkhunter.spec to get it to run:

## Next three lines installed automatically by RPM. Do not change
## unless you know what you're doing...
INSTALLDIR=/usr
#DBDIR=/var/rkhunter/db
#TMPDIR=/var/rkhunter/tmp

Works OK (after the above change and running "hashupd.sh" and
"hashupd.sh"), except for complaints:

   - GnuPG 1.2.6 [ Old or
patched version ]
   - OpenSSL 0.9.7a [ Old or
patched version ]
   - PHP 4.3.9 [ Old or
patched version ]

Have been googling on how to get rid of the above (apparently benign)
flags, but they do not seem to generate spurious warning e-mail from the
daily scan, so can easily be ignored.

Updated from kbs-CentOS-Extra rkhunter-1.2.8-2.el4.kb
