With respect to the "Warning: The command 'x' has been replaced by 
a script" and the /dev "Suspicious files" / "Hidden directory" 
messages please see my reply just a few minutes ago (whitelisting 
in rkhunter.conf).

Running 1.3.0 requires more initial setup work because it's more 
thorough but after that it should be smooth sailing.
