Hi All,

I am using rkhunter 1.3.1 on a Fedora 8 machine.

Fedora 8 uses rsyslogd, not syslogd. The config file is: /etc/rsyslog.conf

rkh issues a warning, (typed from memory):

"Warning: The syslog daemon is running, but no configuration file
can be found."

Is rkh aware of rsyslogd? How can I do a temp whitelist for this.

Thanks for a great product and super support.

Jim
