Hi
Either you run stable distros and keep tracking security mail and patching
as required...etc......or you could run the latest software including beta
or unstable software at considerable risk to your client reliability and
faith in you for repeat business. But not have to patch as its quickly
replaced.
And then have use scripts to synch boxes..or clone...etc.
One such script is

2) With the speed of exploits, there is some agreement you can not make
something absolutely fool proof....but adopt and adapt strategies for
checking.
My suggestion is to run the latest software from a distro that is based on
unstable Debian....such as sidux.
3) And there is nothing stopping you from running more frequent cron jobs as
long as your mind is focussed on what to interpret?
FYI
good luck
