The issue is that in that case the prefix will look like this: Install into: //usr Application: //usr/bin Configuration file: //etc Documents: //usr/share/doc/rkhunter Man page: //usr/share/man/man8 Scripts: //usr/share/rkhunter/scripts Databases: //var/lib/rkhunter/db Temporary files: //var/lib/rkhunter/tmp
Even though that isn't an error (it will work) IMHO the install script (at least for the DEB layout) will work better using the small modification I proposed.
