Yeah I tried both of the commands but I have no idea what I'm looking at or
what it means.  This is all new to me and I cannot find any site that
explains server commands or server logs in a newbie way.  How would I look
for the last clean backup?  Thanks for the replies and support.

It's a good idea to look for the last clean backup ...
